Apne product aur market segment me match dhoondhne ko business development kehtey hai.

Aur sales, on the other hand is kisi product ya solution se revenue generate krna ek selected market segment me taaki aap market ke leader bann jaaye.

Business development ka example hua - ki dusre business ya vendors se partnership karna taki aapke company ka business grow ho sake. ya phir nye markets main aapna business setup karna etc. Here the direct outcome may or may not be revenue. Eg. Aapne aapne business ko grow karne ke liye Jaipur main ek nya office set up kiya, kuch nye partnership banaye, nyi team banai... all this is business development

and sales ka example vo activities hain jo ki direct revenue generation pe focused hai. Jiska direct outcome is increase in revenue. eg aapne apne business ko grow karne ke liye Jaipur main 4 client meeting kari aur client ko convert kar ke revenue generate kiya.
